"Our room was pretty rundown, the fridge was old and noisy. Cracked batch room sink and the kitchenette bench was cracked and fixed with tape that was old and black. Chips on the walls and the balcony was dusty and with spiderwebs. The hotel is also far from the village and all restaurants and shops. ..."

"The property is beautiful and well kept. All the common areas were quite nice. Beautiful waterfall and koi pond. The rooms are dated and in need of some refreshing. The carpets are dirty and there isn't much space in the room to put your things, just a small table. The breakfast is basic but has a little of everything. It's the same every day. Which could be a good thing or bad thing based on what you like. The price seemed expensive for what you get but everything in port Douglas is expensive."
